DEMS Student Competition
The DEMS project is a dynamic partnership between four universities and SME’s aimed at fostering innovation and talent among students, businesses and academia, with the objective of preparing and launching a successful student competition in 2024. Ultimately, the DEMS student competition creates an impactful competition that not only showcases the talents of participants but also fosters collaboration between students, industry partners, and academia.
By celebrating innovation and excellence, the project aims to inspire a new wave of creativity and empower students to make a significant impact in their respective fields. For the SME’s, this a superior opportunity to get fresh ideas and input to their digital marketing activities.

How do we want to work?
By leveraging the expertise and resources of the universities, the DEMS project aims to create a platform where students can showcase their skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Through this competition, we intend to inspire and empower the next generation of professionals in various domains. The student teams will provide detailed and concrete solutions to current diverse marketing challenges faced by the participating SME’s.
National competition and international competition
In the first phase, there will be a national competition for each country. This national competition will follow the jury instructions and points that can be downloaded here. For each country, there will be a top 3 and one winning team that will travel to Gdansk to present their performance to an international jury. This international jury will use the same jury criteria as the national jury. The international jury will take place around September 2024. All students will receive a personalized certificate.
